The UNESCO Heritage region of Northern Italy. The 5 tiny villages of the rugged seaside: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are sheltered and hidden by rugged outcrops, some of them are accessible only by boat. Visitors can explore the villages on foot or by boat (cars are only allowed in the area one day a week).
